A Comparative Study of Mean Platelet Volume in Diabetic Population With and Without Vascular Complication

Diabetes mellitus leads to long-term complications involving multiple organs and systems of the human body. Among list complications, a relatively vascular complication increases morbidity condition. Patients with diabetes are influenced by various factors like hyperglycaemic state, insulin resistance, oxidative stress, metabolic condition obesity, all mentioned conditions also present platelet hyperactivity. Mean volume (MPV) can be used as one laboratory parameters know function activation platelets, which reflects profile patient.
